Joshua Donkor
Joshua Donkor describes his practice as visual story telling. His work predominantly revolves around race, identity, ancestry and transcultural experiences in the Western world. By focusing on individuals’ unique personal stories, his portraits aim to break away from oversimplified and prejudicial stereotypes that exist around “black identity".
