Wayne Clough
Wayne was born in Bradford and studied at Bradford College and Wimbledon School of Art respectively. He has had work exhibited in a number of illustrious shows including the John Moores Painting Prize, BP Portrait Award and The Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual event. Joshua Donkor
I describe my practice as visual story telling. My work predominantly revolves around race, identity, ancestry and transcultural experiences in the Western world. By focusing on individuals’ unique personal stories, my portraits aim to break away from oversimplified and prejudicial stereotypes that exist around “black identity”.

Henry Hudson
Henry Hudson (1982) is a British artist who works across painting, sculpture, ceramics, installation and printing-making. Hudson’s critical practice is expressed through the exploration of various techniques and materials, including ceramics, plasticine, scagliola, oil painting, 3D printing, wax, sand and textiles. The work extends into the digital realm using the iPad, scanners and uv printers that inform his contemporary portraiture.

Owain Hunt
Born in 1994, Owain Hunt is an emerging British painter. His paintings contemplate the transience of memory and life. Working observationally, his paintings emerge from a shared, fleeting existence with his sitters. These experiences, processed through paint and contorted by fragile memories, evoke reflective, often melancholic images.

Megan Hunter
Megan Hunter is a portrait painter who paints at her home studio in Leicester. Her realistic style not only captures a likeness but also the personality of her sitter. Megan builds up layers of oils on aluminium allowing the under colours to show through, giving her work a contemporary feel.

Vanessa Jones
American-born, Dublin-based artist Vanessa Jones is a figurative painter whose work deals with themes around the feminine, primordial impulses and medieval associations with beauty, primarily through the filter of self-portraiture. Lisa Wright
